Call me fickle. My favorites seem to change with the weather.
Last week I was especially fond of passion flowers and lotus, this week I prefer poppies. Poppies, poppies, poppies! Or maybe sunflowers...
P.S. By the time you read this, I'll be on to another choice, since I usually prefer blues and purples.
Anyone else have a favorite of the week/day/moment?

Re: What's your favorite flower this week?
Tue, February 20, 2007 - 7:06 PMMy favorite is orchids found in the wild (such a rare treat!) no two are ever alike! I can't wait for summer because we have more appear than usual, because of the surplus of snow!
I've always liked snowdrops (tulip family) because they're so tiny and delicate looking...
And morning glories have always put a smile on my face...
As far as recieving flowers, I am old fashioned, and nothing makes my heart beat faster than ROSES! -

Re: What's your favorite flower this week?
Thu, April 5, 2007 - 8:02 PMI agree on the ROSES...I want my true love to build me a courtyard (off of our cordwood castle at fairy meadow)...just for a rose garden! But right now besides roses my favorite flower seams to be foxglove. I'm trying to grow them from seed right now, but they don't seem to be spouting. ~ Katrina Marie -

Sun, May 6, 2007 - 9:23 PMCamas is blossoming right now in Oregon.

It's a hearty native that grows in boggy areas, ditches..
The first people here ate it seasonally
altho it seems to have mostly outlasted them.
