<div>for whatever reason, I have been compelled to paint, draw, grow flowers for most of my life. Perhaps it was a slow adjustment to growing up in the tropical paradise of Miami, Florida and personally relocating to Baltimore, MD. Nevertheless, one of my favorite flowers has been the passion flower, passiflora, and I recently started an elaborate tattoo across my side from one of my paintings. It has appeared in several forms in my work and now it finds a place permanently, on my body, and I couldn't be happier. It still needs color, also shading. I love this flower. I feel like it represents part of who I am. </div>
